Abstract
The study examined fraud practices in the Nigerian banking sector. Causal-comparative research design was adopted for the study. Data for the period 2006-2017 were collected from Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) annual reports. This theory of triangle fraud was utilized which involved the triangle of different fraud aspects which includes perceived pressure/motives, perceived opportunities and rationalization. Data relating to fraud, bank profit, bank assets and bank deposits were collected. Descriptive analysis and Johanson Co-Integration method of regression analysis were used for the data analysis. To quantitatively examine how bank fraud affects Banks Performance, profitability was measured using Profit before tax (PBT) and Liquidity measured using Bank Deposit Base (BDB) and Banks Assets (BA). Bank fraud was measured using Value of Bank Fraud (BFv) and Volume/cases of Bank Fraud (BFc). Accordingly, it can be seen that the variable for Performance (PBT, BDB and BA) is dependent on bank fraud (BFv and BFc). It was discovered that fraud has negative but significant relationship with bank profit amongst others. This implies that even though as bank fraud increases, bank profit increases, but the amount of fund involved in fraud does not significantly affect bank profit. It was recommended amongst others that banks should include the amount involved in fraud in their financial statements and entrench good corporate governance (Fraud Box Model) as the key to lock the fraud -risk factors as contained in fraud diamond.

Abstract
This study examines the relationship between perceived job insecurity and task performance. It adds to the understanding of job insecurity and employee performance relationship by introducing a research model that encompasses yet to be identified mediator and moderator which are likely to exercise an effect on this relationship. Specifically, it is suggested by the research model that employee self-efficacy serves as a significant underlying mechanism through which the perception of job insecurity act to exercise an effect on employee task performance. In addition, it is suggested that the outcome of this mediating interaction is contingent on yet, another significant interaction between emotional intelligence and perceived job insecurity. Thus, while it is expected that perceived job insecurity will culminate in low self- efficacy to impede on task performance, it is also expected that emotional intelligence will act to buffer this indirect relationship. Theoretically, while this model will aid in a better understanding of the previous inconsistent findings on the relationship between perceived job insecurity and task performance, its practical implication is that Deposit Money Banks, both in Nigeria and other nations, including other business organizations stands a chance for an understanding of organizational outcomes associated with emotional and personality factors and how these factors may be manipulated to achieve desirable level of employee performance.

Abstract
This Paper examined Role of Discipline in Enhancing Primary School Management in Nigeria: Issues and Challenges. Primary education is very important in the Nigerian education system. It is the oldest system. Its history in the geographical entity that is now known as Nigeria, dates back to 170 years ago, Lack of discipline in primary school in Nigeria is a challenge to education management in Nigeria. The need for discipline from the grassroot of our educational system has become the turning point in the administration of educational institutions in Nigeria. Primary Education has been universally accepted as an instrument of change and potent tool for socioeconomic development. It is the only weapon yet known for the achievement of purposeful human development objectives in this era of technology driven world economic order. In coping with the demand of social change, Primary education in Nigeria has undergone series of changes in order to develop Nigeria’s economy and meet the aspirations of the citizenry. However, the changes in the system have become mere nomenclature as they have failed to produce the desired results in view of the contending issues that are left unresolved. Thus, inability of the Nigerian government to implement the articulated educational policies, insufficient access, and inadequate infrastructure, among other issues are inimical not only to the educational development but its attendant socioeconomic backwardness. Among the recommendations made are tha, Primary Administrators should establish clear rules and procedures and instruct pupils on how to follow them, giving primary level children and those with low socio-economic status in particular a great deal of instruction, practice and reminders, Make clear to pupils the consequences of behavior, Enforce classroom rules promptly, consistently, and equitably from the very first day of school and finally, Make use of humor, when suitable to stimulate pupils’ interest to reduce classroom tensions.

Human Capital Policy Department, Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER)
Abstract
The study titled Entrepreneurship Education and Graduates’ Employability in Nigeria, aimed at inculcating entrepreneurship knowledge and skills in students of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Nigeria so as to equip them for the requirement for self-reliance or readily securing employment in the labour market after their graduation. The descriptive survey method was adopted in order to analyze how graduates’ employability could be enhanced through entrepreneurship education in Nigeria. This method is useful for finding the meaning and understanding of the issues under investigation. The study relied on secondary source of data which were sourced from academic literature on the subject matter. The study was anchored on the cognitive theory with a view of addressing the issues of entrepreneurship education and how it could leverage graduates’ unemployment in Nigeria. The cognitive theory explains why people engage in an entrepreneurial behaviour. The study found positive relationship between entrepreneurship education and graduates’ employability. This implies that with the right and conducive environment, entrepreneurship education in our HEIs is a panacea to graduates’ unemployment in Nigeria. The findings were corroborated by empirical evidence that entrepreneurship education is the only viable alternative for solving the high level of graduates’ unemployment in Nigeria. An effective entrepreneurship education and skills acquisition will promote graduates’ employability in Nigeria. The findings of the study show that Nigerian higher education institutions are characterized by outdated school curricula which renders average Nigerian graduate unemployable because he doesn’t possess skills needed by the employers of labour. This is often attributed to the nation’s education system which is liberal bias. The course contents of most HEIs in Nigeria lack entrepreneurial contents that would have enabled graduates to become job creators rather than job seekers. Inadequacy of competent trainers and the methodology employed by lecturers in teaching entrepreneurship education in Nigeria are inadequate and obsolete. Entrepreneurship education facilities such as adequate lecture rooms and furniture for the teaching and learning of entrepreneurship education, ICT services, equipment for skills acquisition are either inadequate or non-existent. Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations were made: Educational curricula should be generally reviewed in Nigeria to promote the inculcation of the generic skills that will instill inquiring, innovative and entrepreneurial mind in students and staff. Useful entrepreneurship programmes should be organized in HEIs so that students will be exposed early to the world of business. Government and private philanthropists should assist in promoting and financing entrepreneurship education in higher institutions and entrepreneurship diversification should be encouraged in all walks of life such as business entrepreneurs, academic entrepreneurs, civic entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs and technological entrepreneurs.

Abstract
The personal attributes of individuals and the social environment have been known to exert a lot of influence on behaviour. The environment comprises of many factors which make it extremely difficult to determine with some degree of certainty which of these factors actually influences behaviour at a particular point in time. Situational influences on consumer behaviour have been investigated but not much has been done to investigate the relationship between demographic variables and situational factors. The study investigates the influence of age, gender and level of education (demographic variables) and physical surroundings, social surroundings and temporal factors (situational factors) on fast food consumers’ behavior. A survey research design was employed. Respondents were asked to state the degree of influence of the independent variables on the dependent variables using a three measuring nominal scale (very strong, somewhat strong and very weak). The statistical Chi-square was used to test the hypotheses. Results indicated a significant relationship between age and the three situational factors considered. On the other hand, sex significantly related only to social surroundings while education showed a significant relationship with the physical surroundings and temporal factors, it was, therefore, recommended that marketers should not neglect demographic factors in the planning of successful marketing strategies that will ensure great influence of situational factors.

Abstract
Security and safety of tourists have of recent become a most global concern and thus a major factor in tourists’ choice of destinations. The past decade and counting, Nigeria in general and the north in particular, have been witnessing unprecedented upsurge in crimes like kidnappings, abductions, terrorist attacks, political/religious uprisings, all of which have played roles in discouraging tourists from coming in the country, especially to the zones or States so affected. Bauchi State that prides itself as the Pearl of Tourism, now is a shadow of itself, as not many foreign tourists are too eager to venture into the State for any activity whatsoever. With the exception of petroleum and GSM businesses as well as foodstuff businesses, Bauchi State cannot boast of many industries that would have contributed to the state’s economic development. This study set out to investigate possible economic effects of this problem of insecurity. It was discovered that influx of especially foreign tourists to Bauchi State in the last ten years has reduced to almost zero and as a result, many businesses that otherwise would have benefited from the visits and activities of foreign tourists, through the much-needed foreign exchange and business opportunities. Similarly, the state government, which should have been the major beneficiary of the income generated by foreign tourists, is adversely affected in that the expected income from tourism for economic and general development of the State is lacking. At the end of the research, useful recommendations were proffered which, to enable stakeholders have a rethink and tackle the menace of insecurity for the overall development of the State.

Abstract
This research aimed to study the religious justification for the introduction of Islamic banking system in Nigeria as being consistent with religious teachings. As it’s justifiable in religious scriptures especially in both the Islamic and Christian teachings, so, Nigeria shouldn’t be a battle ground for Islamic banking system between Muslims and Christians just because it carries the toga of Islam while ignoring its beneficial social goals as an alternative modes of ethical financing and investments. Interest serve as the cardinal and philosophical question that has to do with the core concept of ‘is money a commodity that can be traded on its own or not? The sampling method adopted for the study was stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was questionnaire administered to 480 respondents and data obtained was analyzed with inferential statistical technique. ANOVA was employed to test each hypothesis at 99 per cent confidence level. Results were analyzed through descriptive statistics and hypotheses tested using ANOVA at 0.01 level of significance. Thus, this paper believes that the Islamic banking are not only concerned with the growth of money but the ethical means by which money can be used to generate wealth across the sub-Saharan countries of Africa. As the Islamic approach to banking system emanates from a foundation set of ethical principles this paper recommended that there should be intellectual and diligent discussion on Islamic banking system in the academic and religious centres across the country to critically assess its connection involving ethical and global financial practices which would promote a balance between the social and economic aspects of our society by eliminating the sources of instability and promoting harmonious living among followers of various religions.

Abstract
The research paper involved 3rd Order control extension for Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State. Second Order Control located around Ringim was used to control the survey work. Leica GPS 1200 series was used to determine the Northings, Eastings and Heights (X, Y, & Z coordinates) of these points. The coordinates were first achieved in WGS 84 ellipsoid, but were later converted to Minna Datum all in UTM Zone 32N format. Pillar description was also carried out for the points that are close to prominent features of the thirteen (13) points. The report from the processing software i.e. Leica geo office, shows that the entire final coordinates falls within the allowable error specification configured into the GPS receiver. Final adjusted coordinates of these control points were plotted using AutoCAD 2007 software at a scale of 1/10,000.

Abstract
This study examines the level of compliance with the provisions of IFRS7 (Financial Instrument) by Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in Nigeria. Data were obtained from the primary sources using perception study of the fifteen (15) listed DMBs in the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE). The structured questionnaire was distributed to 150 respondents. The primary data was analysed using Chi-square technique. The study revealed that DMBs are faced with challenges in complying with the disclosure requirements of IFRS7 and that globalization is a major factor in banks’ decisions to comply with the standard. It is therefore recommended that the improvement in compliance with the requirement of IFRS7 by DMBs in Nigeria should be sustained through training and retraining of staff that are vested with the responsibility of preparing the financial statements. Through that they can overcome the difficulties and to ensure harmonization with financial reporting system. Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria should ensure that the framework establishing the IFRS adoption addresses the peculiarities of Nigerian financial reporting system in order to address the challenges of compliance with IFRS7.
